Springside Chestnut Hill Academy is accepting applications for the following coaching positions for the spring 2026 season:
Middle School
Assistant Baseball Coach
Assistant Golf Coach
Head Boys Lacrosse Coach
Assistant Boys Lacrosse Coach
Assistant Girls Lacrosse Coaches
Assistant Softball Coach
Position Purpose
The successful candidates will be coaches who are willing to develop our scholar-athletes while demonstrating strong character, professionalism, relational skills, and who are positive role models appropriately utilizing the platform of their sport. The spring season begins in early March and runs through May.
Essential Functions
- Organizes tryouts and all practices.
- Helps players understand the program objectives.
- Communicates clear expectations to the players and parents.
- Represents the school in a manner that exhibits and promotes SCH's mission.
- Develops positive, productive relationships with the entire SCH community.
- Keeps accurate attendance records.
- Keeps the Athletic Director informed of problems and/or concerns.
- Other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director or his designee.
Qualifications
- Prior coaching experience is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Positive role model, mentor, and teacher of the sport.
- Must provide instruction to instill a strong work ethic, responsibility, teamwork, sportsmanship, self-discipline, leadership, and self-confidence in players.
- Must be able to deal with a diverse array of contacts.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
- Must be available for all practices and competitions during the coaching season.
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
